October Update

While dreaming of new quilting projects to work on during the long days and nights of winter, come on in to the Calico Cow and see the wonderful fabrics that we have gotten in for use in fabulous objects that show the flavor of the season.  We have superb fabrics to make table toppers, bed runners and quilts that reflect the holiday season.  There are beautiful greens, yellows, golds, browns plus pumpkin and leaf prints that are favorites for Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Then looking further into the store, you will find stunning reds, greens, golds, blues, silvers, and blacks as well as delightful seasonal prints for Christmas.

For those of you looking for classes.  There are a number of different ones coming up.  The variety is exciting.  Very challenging classes for the more experienced quilter and then beginning classes for those just starting their quilting adventures.  So, please mark your calendar for the different classes you may be interested in.

Saturday, October 20, 2012.  Joyce Bendell will be continuing her Buggy Barn Series with the attention-grabbing snowman quilt.  This quilt is from the Buggy Barn pattern book, Crazy Snow Days. This is a fun and somewhat challenging project.
Saturday, October 27, 2017.  Linda Mosher will be teaching a beginning quilting class on triangles.  The class project will be a table runner using a Piece Tree Pattern, Centerfold.
Remember that our hours have changed.  The store is open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.  We are now closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Stay tuned.  November brings a number of fun and interesting classes.
As with the classes in October, most of the classes offered next month will have a seasonal flair.  And, the big question is, what will the Calico Cow be doing for “Black Friday”?
